I don't think that either writing or speaking well is more important. They are both equally important. Writing and speaking well are important because they help with jobs and communication. It is important to be good a writing for most careers ,but knowing how to speak well could be good for certain careers such as someone in buisness who has to talk at meetings. Some people may be better at one or the other depending on what they have had more practice with. Practice is important to be good at reading and writing because than you become more experienced.

In my opinion, both writing well and speaking well are important since these skills are exceptionally significant in everyday life. Both writing well and speaking well are essential so that a person can express himself/herself in different forms so that the individual can communicate clearly and be understood. When speaking it is important for the listener to identify the words that are being stated so that the words can be inferred quickly without any distractions. If a person does not speak well then the listener would either not be able to understand what the presenter is trying to declare or would not be able to hear what was being stated in the presentation. This would cause a problem if the person had intended to choose a speaking- related role later in their life.
Writing well is important so that a person can convey their thoughts and write their ideas down to write a story; communicate through a letter, or most commonly writing on the internet. Writing well expresses the ability, as a reader, to use distinct words to devise an article through the sequencing of several words, phrases, and paragraphs into one accomplished draft. Writing well is important for many reasons including that it is needed to be used to be accepted in writing-related jobs such as a newspaper writer. It is surprising how many uses there can be in writing well and speaking well when applying this knowledge toward your curriculum. These are the reasons why I think both writing well and speaking well are both equally important.
Some people are better at one of these traits than the other because of the amount of time they spend practicing both writing well and speaking well in a day. If you exercise speaking well rather than on writing well then you would enhance your speaking skills and speak better. The same concept applies to the other way around. This is why some people demonstrate more valued skills in one of these subjects than the other. Practicing will increase your overall knowledge and make you a better orator or writer. My conclusion for this essay is to use both writing well and speaking well to create more literary attributes for your purpose.

Some people are better at speaking while others are better at writing. They are both equally important skills to have as a student and in the real world. Writing well really helps and contributes to all school subjects. Also, it helps people communicate without having to see each other. Speaking well also is a very good ability. It can help students get good presentation grades and can help get someone a job. When someones getting interviewed for a job, it really helps to be a good speaker so you could communicate on the spot. Some people are naturally good speakers or writers. What makes someone a good writer is they probably have experience writing correctly and even reading alot. What makes someone a good speaker is they probably also practiced and watched other good speakers. writing and speaking well are two equally important qualities that will contribute to good learning as a student and help move someone forward in any job.

I think that writting and speaking are both equally important. You need to be able to speak well for presentations for your job. Writting well is important too though. If you need to write a business letter than you have to sound professional so the person that you are writing to doesn't think that your letter is a joke.
Although both writing and speaking well are important, I think that some people are better at one than the other because of what their daliy lives require. If one person is a public speaker, he/she is obviously going to be better at speaking than a painter.

Writing well and speaking well are both very important qualities. If you write well and don’t speak well then you’re writing may sound more boring than it actually is. Also if you speak well but don’t write well then speaking well will mean nothing. Your writing is key, it draws your reader in but speaking well keeps them in. You cannot have one without the other. If will either sound too boring or not make any sense.
However I do believe that speaking well is the first step to writing well. If you speak well then your writing can sound better than having it on paper. Speaking should be your first priority, take baby steps. However this does not apply to everyone. Different people have different strengths.
Furthermore Writing well is a long journey but speaking well should be your first stop.

It is very important to write and speak well. For example, college applications can be the first impression the college has on you. How well you write says a lot about what kind of person you are. It's also crucial to have good social skills. If you communicate improperly, it sends the wrong message. Speaking is also, at most times, the easiest way to communicate, so its important to speak well.
I think that certain people are better at speaking or writing. Some people prefer to write because you can edit writing and you have time to think about what you want to say. Others perfer speaking because we do it so much more and its faster than writing. However, it is very important to speak and write well.

In today's world speaking is more important as apposed to speaking. Both are important but writing is more a skill to help with succsess in life and speaking is a skill for basic survival. If you can write well but not speak you can barely get anywhere in life. You could write a few good books and make some money but you would not be able to live a normal life. Say youre in a life or death situation such as a house fire. If you pick up the phone and dial 911 you wouldn't be able to summon an ambulance without the skill of speach. In order to survive today you need to be able to speak.

Both writing and speaking are important to thrive in this world. But I think that speaking is more important because it will bring you farther in life. In the buisness world, speaking is more important at the meetings and interviews then writing. If you speak very well then they'll hire you, but if you sound dumb then they will show you the door. Also, almost everybody can speak, while a lot of people don't know how to write. So for communication purposes, speaking well is a priority. Writing well is important, but speaking well will help you thrive.

Writing and speaking are both equally important in today's jobs. Some jobs need better speakers, like being a salesperson, because they need to get their word out about their product(s). Others jobs need better writers, because a lot of jobs have more to do with writing than speaking. However, there are a lot of jobs that need people who speak well and write well, and some of the jobs that have to do with speaking and writing have to do with law. I would recommend that anyone who is looking for a job needs to be a good speaker and writer, because it will help them in the long run.

In today's society speaking and writing are both equaly important. Writing will help you with job oppurtuinities, and will help you move forward in your career. Speaking is also equaly important because if you have a carrer in which you have to do presentation's you need to be able to project your voice and annunciate word's. Speaking and writing will both come in handy if you are doing a presentation wherever the writing that will make you sound like you know what you are talking about, and your speaking will make your audience understand what you are talking about.

Writing and speaking well are both equally important because you need both of them to succeed. Having good writing and speaking skills can help you a lot in business and any other career you decide to pursue in. Once you know how to do one thing well, all you have to do is learn to do the other thing better.
Some people are better at one thing than the other because they might have been doing one longer or knowing the correct way to do something better. As long as you practice both of these skills, your work will pay off.

I believe that some poeple can speak alot better than they can write because maybe they have trouble writing how they feel. when they are speaking there is the tone of voice and the abliliy to keep poeple interested, when they are writing they may lack that. that person may also just get intiminated by writing and they feel that it needs to be very profesinal and the writing needs to include very adult like vocabulary; so they try to hard and it may get choppy or just doesnt flow.
i know that i have this problem myself, i find it that i just dont like to write or read so i dont have that much experience with writing or other peoples points of view so i dont have that advantage of seeing all the other types of writing.

People are different...
Some people are better in school than others some are better atheletes. All depends mostly on how you are brought up and the enviroment you are in. Some childrens parents may not have made it in school but made it in some sort of athletics which is a major factor in what parents take more seriously. If someones parents are a science major and someone elses parents are profesional atheletes the child may grow up to be one or the other. Timeing is very important if you get the child into sports at a young age they mite like that more than school or vis versa. The bottom line is that everyone is different and some are better at things than others.

I believe that both writing and speaking well are very important, although, I do believe being able to speak well is more important than being able to write well. When someone tells a story, most people would rather listen to this person talk about the story than they would read the story for themselves. I think that writing was very important in the collection of history, but I also believe that speaking about history really draws the listener's attention, and you can get a better feel of what was truly going on when someone is speaking about it. Writing down History got us facts and information, while speaking about history from generation to generation got us a true sense of their feelings about what was going on.
The only reason that some people are better at one thing than another is that they practice this more, and they are more comfortable telling a story this way. Some people can't tell stories to save their life, but when they are given a pen and a piece of paper, they can write the story down much better than they would say it. Some people are good at both speaking and writing, while others can't do either.

Speaking well is more important than writing well. We know this because you can be a very good writer, but if you cant speak then you will get no where. If you are a good writer than maybe you could become a speach writer like many others do. For example, presidents have their speaches written for them. It is not always because they are bad writers, but because when they say the words written down they usually have a very large impact on people.

I believe that speaking well is more important than writing well simply because it is used more often than writing. Speaking most importantly is what can get you places in life. Also, it makes a great impact on first impressions for everything. Some people simply aren't good at one of these, others just focus on one more than the other.

Some things that we are responsible for knowing is, for example when you have a test or a quiz in school. If you go into to class on day and the teacher says get ready for the test, you can't say we have a test today, or that I didn't know. It is your responsibility to know. The teacher will probablbly say that she told you last week or a couple of days ago. It is your responsibility to pay attention to the teacher. Plus if you are in high school you are expected to be mature and responsible when it comes to shcool homework, test's, and quizzes.

Like the speed limit and plagiarizing, there are some things that we are responsible to know about. If we do not know about them then the consequences will be great. For example, if we don’t know the law then we could get in trouble. We are required to know the law as citizens of a great nation, so no one can get hurt or worse. Another thing we are required to know is how to read and write. If people don’t know how to do those things, then they will get almost no where in life. Also, something that everyone should be responsible for knowing is nutrition. If everyone knew about proper nutrition then not as many people be lazy and would die of heart attacks. As human beings, we have to be responsible to know about certain things or bad things can happen.

The people of Germany did such evil things because they were blinded by the teachings of Hitler. Since almost every German loved him, they would do anything for him. When Hitler was young, he might have had a very bad childhood which leads many people to grow up to be evil. Maybe another reason why humans are capable of evil is that they don’t know any better. In third world countries, undeveloped countries, and some ignorant families the difference between right and wrong is twisted and confusing. So children raised in those families are going out into the world ignorant of right and wrong because they were never taught the difference. You also have to look at the views of both sides. For example, in Iraq the people there think we are evil because we don’t worship their god. While on are side, we are trying to bring peace and we protecting our country from a possible threat. All humans are capable of good and evil, but what they choose is not necessarily their fault.

Sometimes the authority can make us do things that are insainly wrong, but that doesn't mean we ahve to listen. The a lot of the nazi soldiers were forced to do what they did or Hitler would kill their family. Many of the Nazi's themselves feared Hitler's wraith, but they forgot an important fact. They forgot that Hitler was just a human! The people who were forced to do things could have revolted, but they were so brainwashed that they thought Hitler was too powerful. There's no exuse for why someone can kill people like that. We are all human and are capable of our own actions.
