This song was written by Simple Plan and it mainly tells about the life of a teenager. Welcome to My Life is about a teen talking to there parent(s) about how life is. Teens ,like us, are starting to change and are starting to want to move away from our parents. We feel like our parents do not understand everything we have to go through. Every day teens are being bullied or are going through problems they can not talk about. Teens are always wanting more from life, weather its freedom or the salvation we can not seem to find in everyday life. As young adults we also do not want people telling us when we can or can not do something. All in all, this teenager wants to be heard and understood.

When there is a time to build something, there may be a time to bring it down. There is a time for everything in the cycle of the world. I like this song and think it is interesting because it is very inspirational and encouraging. The lyrics are all about not forgetting who you are and where you came from and even though some things might have happened to you, you still have to keep going and push through it. The song, in a way, teaches you about life and how to live it, with your head held high.

The main idea of the song is that you should not have any worries in your life. You shouldn't be spending you life on worrying on if you are going to be remembered when you are gone. There is no reason why anybody should worry about that because no matter who you may be everyone is going to leave a mark in someone elses life.

As a young boy, John grew up in Liverpool, London and was raised by his aunt Mimi. she did not believe in children having too much fun. So one of the only things that John looked forward to every year was the annual Garden Party. This event was held at Strawberry Fields each year which was an orphanage run by the salvation army for boys. Strawberry Fields was a metaphor for John's youth and a place he visited in his mind as an adult.

The main idea of the song is that you should not have any worries in your life. You shouldn't be spending you life on worrying on if you are going to be remembered when you are gone. There is no reason why anybody should worry about that because no matter who you may be everyone is going to leave a mark in someone elses life.

As a young boy, John grew up in Liverpool, London and was raised by his aunt Mimi. she did not believe in children having too much fun. So one of the only things that John looked forward to every year was the annual Garden Party. This event was held at Strawberry Fields each year which was an orphanage run by the salvation army for boys. Strawberry Fields was a metaphor for John's youth and a place he visited in his mind as an adult.
