A dynamic character is one who changes through the course of a story. Often, climaxes (or other important moments) are centered on characters’ transformation. This transformation often happens when the protagonist learns something about a) the world or b) him or herself.
Choose a story (movie, novel, story, poem, play, etc) and demonstrate this fact. Show us how a protagonist changes and what he or she learns about the world or him or herself that affects this change.

I agree with Jack. Shrek is a good example of character change.
Yet another good example in a movie, to me, is in Spiderman. This is because at the beginning of the movie Peter Parker Doesn't quite know what to do with his newly found powers. At first he used them to his own benefit. However, by the end of the story he has learned what is right and wrong, and how to use his powers to help others. This was demonstrated throughout the movie and its two following sequels.
