All posts must be relevant to class discussions and assignments. Each post should be 1-3 paragraphs. Remember, it is OK to disagree with one another, but we must always be RESPECTFUL of one another.

A time when I learned something about the world and the people around me was when I was eight years old, and I went to New York City. I didn't realize how many people were living on the streets. It also suprised me what they had to resort to, to get money so they could buy food. So a couple of months later when my family and I went back to the city, we made some snacks for the less fortunate people on the streets, and as we walked by we gave them a bag of snacks. That expierence changed me because it opened my eyes, and taught me that even though I am fortunate to have a lot of luxuries, some people don't.
A moment in my life that i learned about the world and changed me was when I watched the movie "Kicking It". It's a documentay about the Homeless World Cup for soccer. The movie truely showed me what homeles people were like. At first i thought they were lazy and didnt try hard in life. The documentary really showed me who homeless people are. They are regular people and want to have a good time while they can. It was a great film. The film changed my mind about some things. I have a greater respect for homless people now. It changed me a lot. It made me more greatfull for what i had, i mean they have nothing. Toothpaste is a huge luxery for them. They just want to have a good time like everyone else. But the movie really influenced me to see things differently and to be more greatfull for what I have and stop thinking of the things i dont have.
A moment in my life when i learned about the world and how it changed me was when I when on vacation to Punta Cana (Dominican republic). When I when there there was the vry nice beach very nice hotel and kind people. It was like heaven I didn't wont to go back home. But when i was staying there my mom, brother and I went on a tour of a normal Punta Cana town. It was nothing like I thought it would be. The town was very dirty and people were just sittig on the streets. The people werenwaiting for are colorful buses to come by because the people on the bus would throw candy and other small things at them. We past alot of unfinished houses so i ask the tour guide why they weren't finished. He told me that the people that had jobs would put alittle money aside so they could build a house. But the supplies costs alot of money so half throw building the house they would leave it unfinished. See the schools and a normal house for these people really opened my eyes. It showed me that I have so much right now and how alot of other people all over the world don't get the same perivoleges I do.

No, I my opinion I think that a Nazi cannot be blamed for what they did during world war II. They believed that what they were doing was right because Hitler said that it was. They were brainwashed by Hitler because of everything that he said about the jews and how what they believed in was not the correct religion. Hitler was such a great and powerful speaker people actually started to believe what he was saying was true. But they are kind of responsible because they could have stopped listening to Hitler. But I think that they could not leave the army because they were probably afraid about being shot. They probably felt that way because of the way that he treated the Jews. They new that he was a very strong and powerful man, and if he said that you could not leave the army or you would be shot, they new that he would most likely follow through on his word.
